Chapter One
TOM AND FENCE
Tom is a small boy. He lived in the small village of St. Petersburg, with his Aunt Polly, his brother Sid and his sister Mary. The summer was long and the evenings Tom liked walking around the village. One Saturday morning was beautiful and Sunny. It was summer and the world was happy, but Tom was very unhappy because he painted the long fence. It was thirty yards long and nine feet high. The friends of Tom going to help his, but Tom said: You can’t paint this fence. Then the friends gift an apple, bottle, knife, cat, rat, key and kite.
