The group met first in 2001. They started playing music when they were very young. At fist they were called Devilish, but in 2003 they changed their name to Tokio Hotel. "Tokio" is the German word for "Tockyo": a city the boys love. They added "Hotel" because they are always staying in hotels on tour. The band has won lots of awards, like Best Group at the MTV Europe Awards in November 2009. Their new album Humanoid. The single Automatic is very catchy and world Behind My Wall has been described as a "wistful ballad". Their fourth tour, Humanoid City Tour, starts in Luxembourg this month and ends on 14 April with a concert at Paris Bercy.
